Victoria's Simple Nut Burger Recipe

Try this simple high protein healthy alternative. Even meat eaters will enjoy!

Blend the following ingredients in a food processor until it reaches the desired consistency. Form into patties using a burger press if possible. Freeze patties on open tray, when frozen transfer into a suitable container or freezer bag.

When ready to use, fry patties in a little oil until browned, turning once (to avoid breaking).

1 cup of walnuts or pecans

1 cup of sunflower seeds

½ cup sesame seeds or hemp seeds

½ cup flax seeds (whole or ground)

½ cup rolled oats (quick oats can be substituted)

Bunch of fresh parsley (dried can be substituted)

3 cloves of garlic

Tablespoon of soy sauce or Braggs

2 large eggs

2 cups of cooked beans (canned work well)

2 tablespoons of tahini or other nut butter.

Optional extras:

Cooked Carrots, Broccoli, Hummus, Brown Rice Etc
