Optimum Nutrition For
Your Child’s Mind
The single most important support
you can give is optimum nutrition for your child’s mind.
Here is a simple checklist of questions to
help you gauge your child’s current mental, emotional and
physical state. Given that age determines ability, where appropriate
answer these questions in relation to other children’s ability
at the same age (ie; siblings or your child’s peer group at
school):

Is your child often restless and overactive?
Does your child disturb other people?
Does your child fail to finish things?
Does your child constantly fidget or squirm when they’re meant
to be still?
Is your child inattentive or easily disturbed?
Does your child get dizzy and irritable if they don’t eat
often?
IQ, memory and creative thinking
Would you describe your child as a slow learner?
Do they lose the plot in films or stories?
Do they find it hard to do calculations in their head? (Age 6 plus)
Do they find it hard to make up imaginary stories?

reading?
Is your child behind at school in his/her writing?
If you ask them, does your child say that the words move on the
page?
Is their spelling particularly bad or do they get the letters in
the wrong place?
Do they frequently get their left and right confused?
Has your child been suspected or confirmed as dyslexic?
Mood and behavior
Is your child especially excitable or impulsive?
Do they expect their demands to be immediately met?
Do they become easily frustrated?
Are they prone to outbursts of temper or temper tantrums?

sections, or has a total score over 10 (the maximum is 25), then
it is very likely that he/she will benefit from Efalex
