It's a New Year and you have made yet another resolution to lose
a few pounds and get heathly again. You ask yourself what went wrong
last year? It can be a simple answer - you were hungry and so you
stopped following the plan!
If you keep it simple you can loose a few extra pounds, get healthier
and not be hungry. No counting or measuring required!
USEFUL TIPS FOR WEIGHT LOSS
Don't count calories and don't be hungry!
Cut out the following carbohydrates completely (Initially):
Rice Bread
Potatoes
Pasta
Pastries
Eat everything else in moderation. Lots of fruit, salads, vegetables
and protein (such as lean meat, fish, nuts, nut butters, tofu etc).

Drink lots of water - even when you are not thirsty - fill a 2 litre
bottle and sip throughout the day ( Avoid fruit juices and diet
pop)

Don't be hungry. Have plenty of fruit and vegetables ready to eat,
also fill up on soup and nuts.

To increase energy and to keep from being hungry mix a protein drink
a couple of times a day. (See Power Protein
drink in Recipe Section)

You may take one day off each week. That means you can eat (in moderation)
the types of food you miss.

Keep an unflattering photograph of yourself nearby and look at it
every day, especially when you feel like cheating.

Keep a chart of your progress in pounds or kg and in inches or cm.
Progress may be slow but that is fine, as long as you are shrinking.

Keep motivated and remember you are doing this for you and you will
like the results. Coffees contributes to cellulite - so drink in
moderation.

EXERCISE REGULARLY You can start off slowly, but push yourself a
little harder each time. Try to join a gym or rec centre. Exercise
at least 3 times per week.

There is no magic pill, but many of the natural diet supplements
will help you stick to your diet and keep your motivated. |
